Emu Bottom HomesteadThe Conference Organising Committee invites all Conference delegates and accompanying partners to join us for the social activities that are a vital part of the 2004 IPCRG World Conference. These events have been planned to provide you with the opportunity to renew acquaintances with old friends, meet new ones, exchange ideas and generally to have a great time, Australian style. Partners are very welcome to attend all of the Conference social activities.

Welcome Function and Celebration

Join us after the formal opening of the 2004 IPCRG World Conference on Thursday 19 February to relax and celebrate in the surrounds of the magnificent Hotel Sofitel and experience some true Melbourne hospitality. As well, we’ll enjoy some international exchange as the various country delegations provide their own special ‘Welcome to Melbourne’.

The Welcome Function is included in the Registration Fee for delegates. Please indicate on the Conference Registration Form if you will be attending the Welcome Function. Additional tickets to the Welcome Function for accompanying persons can be purchased for $A 35 each. Please indicate on the Registration Form if you require additional tickets.

2004 IPCRG World Conference Dinner – A Taste Of Australia

Friday evening 20 February is the night for a truly Australian Experience as you join us for ‘A Taste of Australia’ at the 2004 IPCRG World Conference Dinner at the magnificent Emu Bottom homestead.

Coaches will take us from the Hotel Sofitel to Emu Bottom, approximately 40 minutes drive north of Melbourne. At Emu Bottom, nestled amid verdant countryside and surrounded by fertile valley pastures, we will have the opportunity to experience the unique colour and excitement of Australian country life. The dress should be comfortable casual as we sample home cooked Aussie fare, sample fine Australian wines and listen and dance to an Australian Bush Band.

The cost of the Conference Dinner is $A 75 for Conference delegates. The cost for accompanying Guests is $A 150 per person.

Tickets for this highlight of the IPCRG Conference can be booked on the Registration Form. Dietary requirements can be indicated on the Registration Form.
