Registration Fees

The registration FEES for the 2004 IPCRG World Conference are as detailed below. Please read through the information carefully prior to completing Registration procedures. All prices quoted are in Australian dollars.

Early Bird Registration
Up to 1 November 2003 
Standard Registration 
After 1 November 2003
Full Registration $A 600 $A 700
Student Registration $A 360 $A 420
Day Registration $A 310 $A 360

 Full Registration includes:

  • Access to all Conference scientific sessions, workshops and displays.

  • Conference delegate’s kit including satchel, final Program Book and Conference Abstract Book.

  • Morning tea, afternoon tea and lunch on Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the Conference.

  • One ticket to the Conference Welcome Function and Celebration. Additional tickets may be purchased for $A 35 each.

  • One 2004 IPCRG World Conference Polo Shirt (please indicate your preferred size on the Registration Form). Additional Polo Shirts can be ordered at a cost of $A 25 each on the Registration Form.

Day Registration

Day registrants will be entitled to access to all Conference sessions on the nominated day, and morning tea, afternoon tea and lunch on that day. Day registrants will also receive the Conference delegate’s kit.

Day registrants are welcome to purchase tickets to Conference social events.

Student Registration

Student registration is available to PhD students or GP Registrars, at a reduced rate. To be eligible for the Student Registration rate, delegates must include verification from their Supervisor or Head of Department in the appropriate section of the Registration Form.

Early Bird Registration

Early Bird Registration will be available until Saturday, 1 November 2003. Standard Registration fees will apply after this date.

Confirmation of Registration

Confirmation of registration will be forwarded to delegates by the Conference Secretariat, confirming all Registration requirements as indicated on the Registration Form, together with a receipt for payments made. Please check your confirmation details carefully and contact the Conference Secretariat with any queries or for changes required.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

A refund of Registration Fees, less an administrative fee of $A 75 will be made upon written notice of cancellation to the Conference Secretariat prior to Friday, 16 January 2004. There will be no refunds for cancellations after this date.

Cancellation of accommodation bookings made after 16 January 2004 will forfeit the first night's deposit. Deposits will also be forfeited if the booked room is not occupied on the nominated check-in date.

Substitutions

Registrations are transferable to a colleague at no additional cost at any time prior to the Conference, provided the Conference Secretariat is advised in writing.

Cancellation of IPCRG Conference The National Asthma Council (NAC) and the International Primary Care Respiratory Group (IPCRG) reserve the right to cancel or postpone the IPCRG Conference, in their absolute discretion. In the event of cancellation or postponement, except for the registration monies paid by the registrant, the registrant will not be entitled to make any further claim for compensation or damages, or for any loss, expense, loss of time or inconvenience which may result from such cancellation, howsoever arising. Such losses and expenses shall be borne by the registrant.

Travel insurance

It is strongly recommended that comprehensive travel insurance be taken out to cover any unforseen circumstances which may arise (including but not limited to health, baggage, theft and loss of monies through cancellation).
